
Kristineberg Center for Marine Research and Innovation
Kristineberg Center for Marine Research and Innovation is located in Fiskebäckskil. The center is run jointly by IVL, University of Gothenburg, Chalmers, KTH and RISE.
Kristineberg Marine Research Station in Bohuslän is one of the world's oldest marine research and education stations. The center is located by the Gullmarsfjord, which means fantastic conditions for marine research, innovation and education. The center has laboratories and test environments that offer infrastructure and services for researchers, education, companies and entrepreneurs.
The center conducts research and innovation projects in many different marine areas. These include aquaculture and the development of novel foods and blue foods. Researchers also look at environmental effects, pollution and climate change on marine life.
